Love this! The boys played a fun version of the Muppet Show Theme as a woodwind quartet for solo and ensemble. I’ve reached out to the other parents to see if they might let me record them playing it using the mouthpieces.

Thank you for the mouthpieces. The the Moonlight-Jellyfish color (clear) was a 1 1/2 C, which was the size I used most when I was practicing a lot. I am of an age where I believe that I shall play best on the prettiest mouthpiece. Thank you for those.

"I was pleased to have the opportunity to review the EggWin resin trumpet mouthpieces. As a trumpet player in the Royal Marines Band Service, with over 20 years of professional playing experience, alongside a degree in Music and an LRSM in performance, I approached this review with both curiosity and a critical ear.

EggWin’s aim to make instrumental playing more accessible, particularly for younger players, is both admirable and much needed. Cost can often be a barrier to entry, and providing a more affordable option without compromising playability is an important step in widening participation.
I tested the 16C4 trumpet mouthpiece and was impressed by its overall performance. The response was immediate and reliable, allowing for ease of articulation across the instrument. The sound produced is warm and rounded, with a pleasing tonal quality that would suit developing players particularly well.
Intonation was consistent throughout all registers, which is essential for building good habits at an early stage. The rim is comfortable and sits well on the embouchure, making it suitable for longer practice sessions without unnecessary fatigue.
One of the standout features is the range of colours available. This may seem like a small detail, but for younger players, it adds an element of personality and enjoyment, making the instrument feel more approachable and engaging.
